As English waters a little cooler than those in the Caribbean, the dry suit speciality was a wise move.

I wanted to dive all year round in England so needed the speciality. I was curious as to why dry suits were a speciality until i actually got into a dry suit and realised buoyancy was an issue. By completing the course, I was able to practice buoyancy skills and alleviate any problems that can occur whilst using a drysuit - such as surfacing feet first (little embarrassing)

I also learnt the different types of suit, under suits, maintenance, safety and care. Given the excellent facilities of Cybaqua I was supplied with a drysuit and under suit to complete the open water dives.

By having the speciality I can now dive all year round without turning blue.
